I think it's a nice little tattoo to celebrate your strong desite to live and survive hardships. I've survived 8+ deep depressions and mostly had suicidal ideation, ans a few not really serious attempts. I think the semicolon stands for finding something in life or yourself thar you're willing to fight and survive for.
