I resolved the “add water” issue with my opal 2.0. The water reservoir at the top left side of the unit is low or the floater is stuck at the bottom of the reservoir. You’ll locate the reservoir by remove the back plate. You’ll see the water tubes running upwards into the reservoir. Remove the 2 screws holding the top cover of the unit.
