Sun top lookout
One of my favorite sunset locations in the mountains is Sun Top lookout. It’s really easy to get to and the trail is pretty short, which makes it the perfect sunset spot in the mountains. I have a few very important rules when it comes to hiking. My number one rule is: always be comfortable.
Sun Top Lookout. On a clear day the view is superb, with Mt. Rainier only 10 miles to the south, the central Cascades, Olympic Mountains, and Mt. Baker 150 miles to the north. A breathtaking 3,000-foot drop leads down to the White River on the east with Huckleberry Creek on the west.
